This service/repair manual is applicable to 2 different models of Powerbook G4, 12 inch DV and 12 inch, to distinguish the models, look for a mini-DVI port on the PowerBook G4 (12-inch DVI) computer. By contrast, the PowerBook G4 (12-inch) computer has a video-out VGA port instead of a mini-DVI port. Both of these powerbook models are enclosured in aluminum (Al) alloy, although there is also a powerbook model with a Titanium case.
