Demon Apocalypse

Demon Apocalypse is the sixth book in Darren Shan's The Demonata series, and the concluding part of a two part story, which started with book five, Blood Beast. It is narrated by Grubbs Grady, the main protagonist of the series. It was released on October 1. Darren Shan released the title of the book on the 29th of September 2007 at the Baeth Festival of Children's Literature.

Darren Shan wished that nothing about this book, not even the title, be known to the public until late September, close to the book's release.1 This is the first time this has happened with any of the Darren Shan books, possibly initiated by the recent popularity increase in the author's works.

Plot

Grubbs Grady must once again face Lord Loss and his minions as he fights to save not only his friends and family but the entire world from the clutches of the Demonata.

The Demonata have broken through to our universe and begun creating havoc. Grubbs must find the strength to join his new allies (Beranabus and Kernel) to stop the damage before it is unrepairable.

Darren Shan finally reveals the plot which links the Demonata series together in this book.

The book is out in the the UK but will not be released in the United States until Apri 2008.
