VW, AUDI, SEAT, SKODA Resetting Instrument Cluster Service Reminder

On some instrument clusters the one button reset of oil service may cause a “Link Failure” message on the CS 2000. If this occurs use this standard reset procedure shown below for channel 02:

• Choose Vehicle (VW, Audi, Seat or Skoda) and press ENTER.
• Choose INTERIOR and press ENTER
• Choose INSTRUMENT PANEL and press ENTER
• At the Identification Screen press ENTER
• For late model vehicles go to LOGIN and press ENTER
• Enter your WSC number (01283) on the keypad. If this is not accepted, then Log in is not necessary for this controller.
• Press EXIT.
• Choose ADAPTATION and press ENTER
• Now you are asked for a CHANNEL number. These Channel numbers correspond to different Service Interval functions.
• Enter the CHANNEL NUMBER on the keypad and press ENTER.
• Enter the ADAPTION VALUE and press ENTER.
