1999 Ford Taurus Owners Guide

Ford Taurus LX and Taurus SE come in standard with the3.0L Overhead Valve V6 rated 145 HP. Optional for both is a double overhead-cam, 32-valve, 3.0-literV6 that makes 185 hp. While the Taurus “Super High Output” (SHO) comes with 2.4 L DOHC v8. All Tauruses variant (SE, LX, Wagon, SHO) comes with 4 speed Automatic Transmission to enable the smoother and more efficient shifting.
